根據Techcrunch周二的報導，Yahoo打算與OneRiot合作，搭上這波即時搜尋熱潮。 OneRiot公司經營即時搜尋引擎，並開發具類似功能的瀏覽器外掛程式(add-ons)。微軟與Google上周也分別宣布，將把Twitter網頁納入搜尋結果。
Yahoo已調整搜尋技術研發目標，今後將聚焦於開發新的搜尋結果呈現方式，而不是後端的網頁爬梳與索引過程。因此，Yahoo與 OneRiot合作是有道理的。Techcrunch不確定雙方攜手合作的產品會是什麼模樣，只推測外觀可能類似由OneRiot外掛程式製成的介面。
